AS / A2 Biology

Biology is the science of life and living organisms, ranging from the study of molecular mechanisms in cells, to the classification and behaviour of organisms, how species evolve and interaction between ecosystems. As learners progress through their course they will develop their understanding of the fundamentals of Biology, applying their knowledge in the investigation of topics including body systems, biochemistry, genetics and biotechnology. For A level only, the Practical Endorsement will also support the development of practical skills.
